The Burgas Centre for Personal Development Support kicks off the 2026/2027 school year with a concert and outdoor craft workshops on October 1 at 5:30pm at the "Ohlyuva" stage in the Sea Garden, the centre says. Locals and visitors are welcome to attend.

Dancers from the "Radost" folk ensemble, led by Dimitar Ginov, will take the stage alongside the "Shareni Gaytani" folk group and the "Trepetlika" folk choir, led by Pepa Zapryanova, plus Stoyko Georgiev's "Mladost" bagpipe orchestra. The centre's own vocal group, led by Milena Dobreva, will also perform.

Polina Hristova, from Atanasia Petrova's Orthodox studies group, will recite a poem about Burgas. The "Racheta" dance group from "Rakovina" kindergarten, coached by English teacher Radostina Apostolova, will also dance.

Guest performers include the majorette team from "Elin Pelin" school, led by Margarita Koleva, and Ekaterina Georgakieva, led by Zheni Lalcheva. The programme blends Bulgarian folklore with modern performances.

After the music and dance show, children can draw with chalk on the pavement alongside artists Hristo Hristov and Sevina Traykova. They'll also build a paper rocket with Georgi Yanev, who runs the Aero and Rocket Modelling School. The workshops take place outside the "Morsko Kazino" Culture Centre, weather permitting.

If the weather turns bad, the concert moves indoors to the "Petya Dubarova" hall at the "Morsko Kazino" Culture Centre.
