Viva Arte theatre company brings the comedy "Meet the Parents" by British playwright Alan Ayckbourn to Burgas. The show is at the Neftokhimik Cultural Centre and starts at 7pm.

The organisers list two different dates: 17 November 2026 in the announcement and 7 November 2026 in the "When" field. We will check with them which one is correct.

The cast is Asen Blatechki, Maria Sapundzhieva, Nikola Parashkevov and Pepa Nikolova. Ivan Urumov directs, Yana Melamed designed the sets and costumes, Tatyana Ivanova did the translation, and Boris Urumov is the photographer.

Greg goes to meet the parents of his girlfriend Jenny. At their home he runs into confusion, unspoken truths and a pair of strange slippers under the bed. It all starts with a bouquet of flowers and one small lie, which his imagination blows up into a row.

The play is a classic British comedy about trust, jealousy and misunderstandings, with gentle, witty humour. The organisers expect the audience to laugh, get confused and recall a story of their own.

Tickets are on sale online at https://entase.to/04U. Information is available at the NHK Cultural Centre, 1 Troikata Square, Burgas.
