On July 18, 2025, Karlovo became the epicenter of national memory, organizing a large-scale ceremony dedicated to the birthday of Vasil Levski. The local administration and civic organizations jointly implemented another official commemoration of the Apostle of Freedom.

The solemn ceremony included laying wreaths and flowers at the monumental monument of Levski, accompanied by an emotional speech by the city mayor. Many citizens attended the event, demonstrating a lasting national spirit and reverence for the historical figure.
