On December 4th at 5:00 PM at the "Morsko Casino" Cultural Center, an exhibition will open, bringing together three emblematic artists from Burgas: Gencho Mitev, Petko Zadgorski, and Georgi Baev. The exhibition "Horizons of Memory" is organized by the Sofia Art Institute and funded by the investment "Burgas - a Green Haven of the Arts".

Gencho Mitev, the founder of the artistic tradition in Burgas, is presented alongside his student Petko Zadgorski, whose name the city art gallery bears today, and Georgi Baev, an artist from the third generation, connected with the continuity between teacher and student. The curator of the exhibition is Elisaveta Stancheva.

The exhibition will feature works from the Petko Zadgorski Art Gallery in Burgas, Burgas Port, and private collections. Highlights include works such as "Night in the Burgas Port" by Gencho Mitev (1913), "Shepherd with his flock near the salt mines near Burgas" by Petko Zadgorski (1931), and "Accident" by Georgi Baev, which survived the burning of his studio.

According to Elisaveta Stancheva, the exhibition aims to remind us of the need to remember and tell stories about ourselves. The opening of the exhibition is on December 4, 2025, in the "Alexander G. Kodjakafaliyata" hall of the Sea Casino. The exhibition will run until January 24, 2026, with free admission.
