The 4th National Folklore Competition "With the Songs of Zlatka Stavreva" will be held on April 17 and 18, 2026, at the Culture House of NHK - Burgas. The competition, organized for the fourth consecutive year, aims to preserve and popularize Strandzha folklore, establishing Burgas as a cultural center.
During the two competition days, from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM, performers from Burgas, Nessebar, Primorsko, Nova Zagora, Haskovo, Targovishte, Kostinbrod, Pazardzhik, Elhovo, Malko Tarnovo, Kiten, Karnobat, Pavlikeni, and other settlements will perform on stage.
The first day will conclude with the concert "Burgas - From Antiquity to Eternity" with the participation of Strandzha performers. On April 18, at 6:30 PM, an awards ceremony and a concert of the laureates will be held.
The event is free of charge and is realized with the financial support of Burgas Municipality, supporting the city's bid for European Capital of Culture in 2032.
