"Identity": Two contemporary dance miniatures take the stage in Burgas

Dance Art with a Focus on Identity

On May 18, Burgas will host an exciting choreographic evening titled "Identity". The event will take place on the chamber stage of the "Adriana Budevska" Drama Theatre and is organized by the team behind the Dance Frame festival.

The project brings together two works by artists of the new generation who are developing their practice both in Bulgaria and on the international stage.

Participants and Program

• Anton Mladenov (AM:PM Dance Company) presents "Amalgamate" – a narrative about the search for belonging and the price of social acceptance.
• Elena Marinova (Head Under Water Dance Company) presents "Absentee Syndrome". The duet, performed by Ralitsa Nikolova and Velizar Gruev, analyzes human intimacy and isolation in the modern world.

The organizers emphasize that the performances are united by the common theme of searching for the "Self" in a dynamic contemporary context.
