"Horo by the Azure Coast": A folk festival takes over Burgas on June 13

On June 13 (Saturday) at 4:30 PM, the iconic "Troykata" square in Burgas will turn into a stage for the Bulgarian spirit. The eleventh edition of the National Folklore Festival for folk dance clubs "Horo by the Azure Coast" promises an unforgettable experience for all lovers of traditions.

"For eleven years now, "Horo by the Azure Coast" has proven that Bulgarian folklore is alive and continues to unite people," says Boycho Yanev, creator of the festival.

Our roots bring us together: Over 780 participants on one stage

This year, the motto of the event is "Our roots bring us together". 22 folklore clubs from all over Bulgaria will perform on stage, including groups from Burgas, Plovdiv, Karlovo, Chirpan, Sliven, Shumen, and Aytos. With the participation of over 780 dancers, the festival establishes itself as a large-scale bridge between the past and the future.
