Hammond Brothers will play together as a quartet for the first time on 10 October 2026 at the Ten Fingers Live Music Bar in Burgas, the organisers said. The band will perform a new programme.
Tickets cost €15. The poster says the concert starts at 9.30pm, but the event schedule gives 9.15pm.
Four musicians will be on stage: Vilizar Gichev on guitar, Andrey Gichev on Hammond organ, Arnau Garofe on tenor saxophone and Teodor Toshkov on drums. The line-up includes jazz players from different generations.
The programme features original pieces and tunes from the classic Hammond organ tradition. The classic organ line-up is the base for original compositions, improvisation and a modern sound.
Few venues in Bulgaria have a Hammond organ and a Leslie cabinet, and Ten Fingers is one of them, the band said in its announcement. It said this sound is at the heart of Hammond Brothers, and the players are eager to perform in such a setting.
The band's classic influences include Jimmy Smith, Wes Montgomery, Grant Green and Jack McDuff. Among newer names, it lists Larry Goldings, Peter Bernstein, Joey DeFrancesco, Joshua Redman and the album "Elastic".
