"Kalgamach" group represented Burgas at a festive concert in Sofia

A worthy presentation of Vayashki folklore in the heart of the capital

The "Kalgamach" authentic folklore group upheld the reputation of the Burgas region at a celebratory concert held at the "Salza i Smyah" stage in Sofia. The event marked 115 years since the establishment of the Union of National Community Centers and 170 years of the national community center movement.

"Community centers are the backbone of preserving spirituality in Bulgaria," emphasized Vice President Iliana Iotova during the celebration.

Over 300 amateur performers from all over the country took part in the concert, but "Kalgamach" stood out as the sole representative from the Burgas region. This is a tremendous recognition of their dedication to preserving the specific Vayashki folklore.
