The Main Directorate "Border Police" organizes an open doors day on the occasion of International Children's Day on June 1. The event will take place on the territory of the Specialized Air Surveillance Squad in Sofia, where visitors will be able to get acquainted with the work of border police officers and see their specialized equipment.

On June 1, 2025, the General Directorate "Border Police" will open its doors to citizens in the courtyard of the Specialized Unit "Air Surveillance" in the capital. The event is dedicated to International Children's Day and will take place from 11 am to 3 pm at 1 Eighth Street, Vasil Levski Airport - North District.

During the open doors day, children and their parents will have the opportunity to get acquainted with a part of the daily work of the border police officers. Visitors will be able to view the specialized equipment used by the employees and learn interesting facts about their professional engagement. A demonstration of the service dogs, loyal partners of the border guards, is planned for the youngest guests.
