The government is taking decisive steps towards energy independence of Bulgarian companies through an innovative financial procedure. The new initiative under the "Competitiveness and Innovation in Enterprises" Program aims to bring about a radical change in the energy efficiency of national businesses.

The key parameters of the scheme include financing for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises with a flexible budget range between 30,000 and 100,000 leva. The main focus is to support the acquisition of modern energy-saving equipment that allows independent production and accumulation of electricity.

The eligible investment areas cover a wide range of technological solutions. These include heat pumps, waste heat utilization systems, energy-efficient insulation systems, photovoltaic installations, and local electricity storage facilities.

Applications are carried out entirely digitally through the ISUN 2020 platform, with the final deadline set for October 13, 2025, at 16:30. Potential beneficiaries have the opportunity to receive methodological support and clarifications online.

Experts from the Ministry of Innovation and Growth emphasize that the procedure is a direct mechanism for reducing production costs and achieving higher competitiveness through green technological solutions.
