Spirit of the Celts Festival 2025 in Burgas

The third "Spirit of the Celts 2025" festival will be held on the last Sunday of September in Burgas, announced the organizers from the NGO "Values".

The event, which for the third consecutive year will take place in the green area near the "Flora" EC in Burgas, promises a rich program, immersing visitors in the atmosphere of Celtic culture.

Many participants from different parts of Bulgaria are expected, each of whom will contribute to the authentic recreation of the Celtic heritage. Among them are the NGO "Values" from Burgas, the "Ancient Thrace" Association from Yambol, the "Sitalk - Historical Reconstructions" Association from Plovdiv, the acoustic formation "Freya" from Plovdiv and the "Historical Heritage" Association from the village of Hlyabovo, Topolovgrad municipality.

In anticipation of the event, the green area is emerging as a stage for an exciting journey through time.

Festival Program

The festival will present to the public the traditional weapons of the Thracians and Celts who lived in our lands - a unique opportunity for direct acquaintance with the rich cultural heritage of the region. Visitors will also be able to participate in a number of fun games typical of Celtic festivals around the world, such as "Lazy Stick", "Corn Hole" and "Haggis".

The organizers promise a dynamic and exciting program suitable for all ages.

The musical program will be entrusted to "Freya" - a group with a unique approach, recreating medieval melodies with unusual instruments. The sounds of early European culture will complement the atmosphere of the festival, immersing visitors in the era.

The culmination of the festival will be a demonstration of exciting duels with the participation of gladiators from "Ancient Thrace" and "Sitalk - Historical Reconstructions", promising a spectacular conclusion.

For a more complete immersion in the Celtic world, a Celtic Workshop will be organized, offering the making of clay medallions, coloring wooden amulets and drawing traditional Celtic symbols. All handmade souvenirs will remain for the participants - a pleasant memory of the experience.

The festival will be held from 10:30 to 13:00 with free admission. The organizers expect a large audience thirsty for an authentic cultural experience.
