For the eleventh consecutive year, the Trade High School in Burgas will organize a large-scale torchlight procession, marking the Day of the Enlighteners – November 1st. The event, which has become a tradition, is expected to begin today at 5:30 PM from Troikata Square.

The procession will pass through the key street "Aleksandrovska" before reaching Atanas Sirekov Square. There, in front of the assembled residents and guests of the city, students from the high school will present a recital dedicated to the national enlighteners.

The atmosphere in the afternoon hours in front of "Troikata" promises to be filled with enthusiasm. Students, as well as many residents of the city, will gather in anticipation of the start of the procession.

Over 800 students from ten schools in Burgas are expected to take part in the procession. Among them are the Professional High School of Maritime Shipping and Fishing "St. Nikola", PGEE "Konstantin Fotinov", SU "Cyril and Methodius", OU "Lyuben Karavelov", PGCHE "Vasil Levski", German Language High School "Goethe" and others. A number of public figures, as well as ordinary citizens of Burgas, who join the solemn celebration every year, will also be present.

This year's procession is particularly significant, as the Trade High School celebrates 120 years since its founding. This is an additional reason for pride and recognition of the educational institution.
