George Lazarov will play his first men's singles final on the World Tennis Tour. The national champion won his semi-final at the $15,000 M15 tournament in Burgas.
The 21-year-old Lazarov, seeded No. 6, beat Slovenia's Jan Kupcic 6-3, 6-0 in 66 minutes. He trailed 1-3, then won 11 games in a row.
Later today Lazarov also plays his first doubles final on the tour. He partners Vardan Manukyan of Russia, and the pair are seeded No. 4. They face the top seeds, Matei Florin and Vlad Cristian Breazu of Romania.
In tomorrow's singles final, Lazarov will play the winner of the match between Matei Florin Breazu and Italy's Mattia Nanelli.
