An innovative cultural initiative is launching in the ancient city of Pomorie, where the local municipality and the Sliven Holy Metropolis join forces for a unique youth project. The plein air "Goodmakers with Gratitude to God" will transform the "St. George" monastery into an epicenter of creative and spiritual development for young people.

From July 22-26, 2025, 28 children between 7 and 14 years old will have the exceptional opportunity to participate in a five-day educational program. The organizers provide a complete set of art materials, with activities taking place daily from 10:00 to 17:00.

Participants will delve into the depths of spiritual art by familiarizing themselves with church objects, ornamentation, and architectural elements. Besides drawing, the program includes a cultural route through the sights of Pomorie, which expands the cognitive horizon of young artists.

The leading goal of the initiative is to nurture virtue and sow spiritual values among the younger generation. A specially selected team of professionals will guide various aspects of the plein air, including Father Valentin Georgiev, who will conduct spiritual discussions.

The culmination of the project will be a charity exhibition on July 26 at 18:00 in the monastery courtyard. His Eminence Sliven Metropolitan Arseny is expected to attend and personally award the young participants.

Residents and guests of Pomorie are invited to support the cause by purchasing paintings, which will be presented with professional matting and framing. All funds will be used for future educational initiatives.
