The government is launching a large-scale program to support domestic business by allocating 126 million leva for modernizing production capacities. The financial initiative aims to directly improve energy efficiency in the private sector.

The strategic investment is targeted at enterprises that wish to optimize their production processes and reduce their electricity costs. Support will be distributed among companies from various economic sectors that demonstrate readiness for technological renewal.

Experts from the Ministry of Economy and Development emphasize that the program has a dual effect - in addition to direct financial assistance, it will also stimulate the competitiveness of Bulgarian companies in domestic and international markets.

Applications will be processed according to pre-announced transparent criteria, with priority given to projects with high potential for energy savings and production capacity modernization.

Nearly 123 Bulgarian companies are expected to be approved for financing in the first stage of the program. The Ministry will conduct a thorough evaluation of each proposal, focusing on innovativeness and economic feasibility.

Financial support will be distributed through targeted grants that will cover up to 60% of the costs for technological renewal. Companies will be able to invest in energy-saving equipment, modernization of production lines, and implementation of modern technological solutions.

The government demonstrates a clear policy of supporting Bulgarian business by creating conditions for sustainable economic development and increasing the competitiveness of the national economy.
