The "Modern Theater" club in Burgas will transform into the arena for one of the most exciting musical events in recent years – "Let's Listen to Cinema" by the Pleven Philharmonic, which has been the recipient of the prestigious "Crystal Lyre" award (2021) for years. The atmosphere in front of the theater foreshadowed something special, and the excitement of those present could be felt in the air.
The charming Hilda Kazasyan and her exceptional musical partners will lead the audience on a journey through the golden pages of Bulgarian film music. It was as if films like "Favorite 13", "The Goat Horn", "Adaptation", "Yesterday" and many others came to life before the eyes of the audience, melodies that continue to excite generations of viewers. The music transported those present to a better time, where the magic of cinema merged with pure art.
On stage, along with Hilda, the talents of will shine:
- Pleven Philharmonic with conductor Borislav Yotsov.
- Hristo Yotsov – drums.
- Zhivko Petrov – piano.
- Dimitar Karamfilov – double bass.
- Mihail Yosifov – trumpet.
Special guests of the evening will be the legendary Teodosiy Spasov and Vasil Petrov.
The visual magic of the spectacle is the work of Vasil Karkelanov, whose projects always leave an unforgettable mark. The impressive new arrangements are created by Zhivko Petrov and Hristo Yotsov, who breathe new life into the beloved film themes. The feeling is of something familiar, but rediscovered, something fresh and exciting.
