Burgas is preparing to shine with an impressive performance for its candidacy for European Capital of Culture 2032.

This Saturday, on June 7, Burgas will turn into the arena of an impressive mass performance, dedicated to the city's candidacy for European Capital of Culture in 2032. The event is the culmination of the Tenth Anniversary Edition of the National Folklore Festival "Horo by the Azure Coast" and will take place at the Central Square "Troyka".

The performance "Sun" will present the inscription "Burgas - Candidate for European Capital of Culture 2032" at its center, and from it will branch out 12 rays, each made up of 20 dancers - a message of the cultural energy that starts from the heart of the city and reaches all corners of the country. The complex choreography will be complemented by four circles and a colorful parade, which will start at 4:00 pm from the Municipality of Burgas towards the "Troyka" square.

The organizers of the event are the Military Club - Burgas and the Folklore Club "Lazur", with the support of the Municipality of Burgas through the "Culture" Fund. For its 10 editions, the festival "Horo by the Azure Coast" has established itself as a bridge between generations, preserving the energy of the Bulgarian roots and the modern spirit of Burgas.
