Burgas will host the first Sole festival of its kind, dedicated to Spanish culture. The event will be held from June 20 to 22 at the "Flora" Exhibition Center and adjacent spaces, with free admission. The festival is part of the city's cultural program related to Burgas' candidacy for European Capital of Culture 2032.
The highlights of the program include culinary competitions, in which 8 of the best paella masters in Bulgaria, including two foreigners, will compete for the champion title. The winner will represent our country at a prestigious festival in Valencia on September 20. Visitors will have the opportunity to try authentic Spanish cuisine and watch the best Bulgarian and foreign masters cook.
Another important element of the Sole festival will be the concerts of stars from the Spanish music scene, such as the quartet "Las Migas", Sabor Latino, Che Sudaka and others. The program will also include a panorama of contemporary Spanish cinema with screenings of comedies and social dramas, recognized at international festivals.
The thematic weekend will also offer other interesting events in Burgas, including the premiere of the documentary film "1 SEA", dedicated to the popularization of the Bulgarian Black Sea coast, as well as 6Fest - a festival dedicated to street arts. The fourth edition of the "Kinovakantsia" Festival in Burgas will also be held, with the participation of Bulgarian directors and actors.
One of the highlights of the program will be the concert-performance "Friends", in which some of the most talented young people from Burgas - musicians, dancers, reciters and actors, created by the music teacher Veselina Dimova, will participate.
Sole festival will offer residents and guests of Burgas an unforgettable experience, immersing them in the magic of Spanish culture during the three festival days.
