On June 28, 2025, Burgas will be the epicenter of a large-scale youth initiative that promises to break stereotypes about civic engagement. Greenburg Fest is becoming a platform for expressing alternative ideas and ecological consciousness, supported by the international "Erasmus+" program.
Organizers from the "Center for Active Youth - Together We Can" and Burgas Open Space have prepared a rich one-day program that will be implemented at Metalhead Brewery and its adjacent spaces. The event receives official support from the Burgas Municipality and is part of the city's bid for European Capital of Culture 2032.
The musical selection promises diversity with performances by the popular group Cool Den and young local talents such as Hellbound, Ignition, Bubble Brothers, and Maria Petkova - Vehra. Parallel to the concerts, visitors will be able to immerse themselves in a large-scale eco exhibition with the participation of over 15 environmental organizations.
Participants include established national structures such as the Bulgarian Biodiversity Foundation, PanGaea, Greenpeace, Youth for a Green Future, and numerous educational institutions. A special focus is placed on interactive art installations and workshops aimed at sustainable development and civic engagement.
The festival will be held from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM in the Mineralni Bani Park, Vetren neighborhood. Entry is completely free, and the organizers welcome all who want to be part of this inspiring event.
