Burgas welcomes 900 dancers for the 10th anniversary edition of the National Folklore Festival

On June 7, on Saturday, Burgas will turn into a stage of Bulgarian folklore and spirituality, when 900 dancers from 29 folklore clubs from all over the country will gather for the Tenth Anniversary Edition of the National Folklore Festival "Horo by the Azure Coast - Burgas 2025". The event is inspired by Burgas' candidacy for European Capital of Culture in 2032 and will take place on the central "Troyka" square, where tradition will meet the future.

The official opening of the festival will be at 4:30 pm, when the sounds of Bulgarian folk music, colorful costumes and a lot of atmosphere will fill the city space. The organizers of the event are the Military Club - Burgas and the Folklore Club "Lazur", with the support of the Burgas Municipality through the "Culture" Fund. For its 10 editions, the festival has become a bridge between generations, the energy of the Bulgarian roots and the modern spirit of Burgas.
