On the occasion of International Black Sea Day, the private primary school "Celestin Freinet" in Burgas is organizing an impressive event that will bring together children and young people with a common cause – the preservation of the Black Sea. A festive procession and a carnival parade are planned to take place on October 29, 2025, starting at 2:30 PM. The event, which will demonstrate the creativity and engagement of future generations, promises to be colorful and educational.

The procession will start from the square in front of the Burgas Municipality building. Excitement can already be felt at the location – the children are impatient, and the teachers are bustling to coordinate the final details. From there, the colorful crowd will head towards the NHC (Culture House), where a short festive program will take place. It will include a charming parade in which the children will present their costumes. These costumes are special – they are made from recycled materials, transforming them into unique works of art with a marine theme.

The main goal of the initiative is to encourage children and students from Burgas to show their creativity. The organizers hope to inspire the young residents of the city to use their imagination, creating costumes from waste materials. Equally important is the effort to raise awareness for the preservation of the Black Sea and the environment. The school hopes to motivate children to develop an active position regarding ecology.

The private primary school "Celestin Freinet" extends an invitation to all educational institutions and kindergartens in Burgas to participate in the procession. It encourages the integration of the topic of sea protection into their autumn festive initiatives. A holiday is coming that unites the efforts of society for a greener and more sustainable environment.

All little "sea creatures" are invited to join the celebration on October 29th. The gathering will be in front of the Burgas Municipality building at 2:30 PM, where they will celebrate together the beauty and importance of the Black Sea.
