Burgas Business Conference: Partnerships and Development

Burgas, Bulgaria – On September 18, 2025, at 4:00 PM, the Flora Exhibition Center will host a regional business conference focused on economic partnership and business development in the region.

The event, organized by the Burgas Municipality and Lider.BG under the patronage of Mayor Dimitar Nikolov, unites a wide range of participants. Partners in the organization are the Ministry of Innovation and Growth, the Bulgarian Investment Agency, the Burgas Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Bulgarian-Turkish Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Bulgarian-Romanian Chamber of Commerce, the Bulgarian Forum of Business Leaders, the Burgas Industrial and Logistics Park, and others.

The conference is part of the national platform "Regional Business Conferences 2025", aiming to create sustainable partnerships and stimulate economic growth in the regions of Bulgaria. The event is expected to attract representatives of institutions, leading companies, investors, and entrepreneurs, united by a common goal – the development of the Bulgarian economy.

Participation of numerous established companies is expected, including EVN, Postbank, Atradius, InternObmen, Hörmann Bulgaria, Sb Accounting & Consulting, Sirvis, Ebury, Alcomet, Stamh, TravelByElectric, "Scorpio" Security Agency, Grohe, Overgaz, Up Tombou, ElNexus, Royal Technology, ERP4.bg, ETEM, and many others.

The conference program is ambitious and covers several key topics.

• The opening at 4:00 PM will be performed by the Mayor of Burgas Municipality – Dimitar Nikolov.
• This will be followed by greetings from Biliana Georgieva – Executive Director of Lider.BG and organizer of the event, Iliana Ilieva – Executive Director of the Bulgarian-Romanian Chamber of Commerce, Tolga Orkun – Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in the Republic of Bulgaria, and Krasimir Yakimov – Deputy Minister of Innovation and Growth.

The first part of the conference, starting at 4:30 PM, will be dedicated to the investment potential of the Burgas region. Presentations are expected from Mila Nedeva – Executive Director of the Bulgarian Investment Agency, Petar Ivanov – Executive Director of the Burgas Industrial and Logistics Park, Prof. Milen Baltov – Rector of Burgas Free University, Stefan Trifonov – CEO of Electra Airways, and Georgica Ilieva – Technical Secretary, Free Customs Zone – Burgas.

Then, at 5:00 PM, the second part will be held, focused on new growth opportunities. Leading companies such as Smart Solar, Postbank, Atradius, Hörmann, Sb Accounting & Consulting, Ebury, Stamh, InternObmen, Sirvis, TravelByElectric, "Scorpio" Security Agency, EVN, and Royal Technology & ERP4.bg will present. Each participant will present their views and development perspectives.

At 6:00 PM, a networking session and business expo are planned, where stands of Grohe, Overgaz, Up Tombou, ETEM, ElNexus, Shell, Smith Anderson&Apa, Karadja Tours, Medical Karadja, New Technologies Bulgaria, and all other participants will be displayed. A lively atmosphere is expected, conducive to creating new contacts and partnerships. The closing of the conference is planned for 7:30 PM. The event will offer a valuable opportunity for the exchange of experience and ideas among representatives of the business community.
