Bile Fest 2025 on the island of St. Anastasia will be held from June 24 to 29 this year, lasting 6 days. The event will support Burgas's candidacy for European Capital of Culture 2032 and will offer an interesting program for the city's residents and visitors.
The festival will start on June 24 (Tuesday) at 11:00 with the "Enyova bulya" ritual, presented by SFA "Kitka" with artistic director Maria Markova-Halacheva. A special wreath of herbs - the Enyovden wreath for health - will be woven. An art market with exhibitors from the region will also be opened, where visitors can find beautiful jewelry, aromatic oils, and products from local producers.
The traditional tin mussels on the beach will also be part of the program, bringing back childhood memories. Reservations for the boat trips from Magazia 1 to the island of St. Anastasia for June 24 are already active, with the option to visit at 10:30, 13:30, 15:00, and 17:00. The boats will travel according to a schedule for all other days of Bile Fest 2025.
From June 24 to 28, there will be a special "horoteka" with a course at 17:00 for lovers of Bulgarian folk music and dance. A special price for ship travel is planned for members of dance clubs - 14 lev.
The official closing of the festival, dedicated to the magic of herbs, will be on June 29 at 11:00 with the special participation of the Professional Folklore Ensemble "Strandzha".
