Organisers of ANTEA RUN have opened registration for the third edition of the race, which takes place in Sozopol on 10 April 2027. For the first time, it includes a 5km run with no obstacles.

Early registration is now open. The course is new, and so are all the obstacles. Organisers will announce later what they are.

There are three distances: 21km with obstacles, 10km and 5km with no obstacles. On the longest, runners face tests of strength, stamina, technique and focus. The 10km is for those who want to test their fitness or chase personal goals.

The 5km is for beginners, people with no racing experience and runners who prefer a short course. Organisers say it is a chance to take part in an organised running race for the first time.

The race is still built around Sozopol's coastline and nature. Organisers are working with Sozopol municipality for the third year in a row, and partner firms are also backing the event.

In past races, the obstacles included flipping tyres, crawling under netting, monkey bars and carrying sandbags uphill. There was also sea kayaking and logic puzzles.

We wrote about the third ANTEA RUN in October 2026. Organisers said then that the race would be held in Sozopol on 10 April 2027, with a new course and new obstacles, and that Sozopol municipality backs the event.

In 2026, the starters included ultramarathon runner Petar Hristov, known as "Adventure Peter", professional boxer Petar Draganov, a WBC CISBB title holder, runner Hristo Ivanov, and former footballers Stoyko Sakaliev and Milen Georgiev. Deyan Slavchev-Deo hosted the event and also took part in the race.
