17th Burgas Photographic Community Exhibition Opens October 6

The "Burgas Photographic Community" (BPC) is preparing to open its 17th annual exhibition on October 6th in the hall of the Burgas Artists' Society, the organization's team announced to BTA. Even now, expectations are high, given the tradition and quality that the BPC has consistently demonstrated over the years.

The traditional exhibition again promises to present works from different genres of photographic art. From sunrise to sunset, from the seashore to the mountain peaks, in portrait or delightful landscape – for Burgas photographers, there really seem to be no limits. Visitors will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the exceptional variety of creative visions and sophisticated technical techniques that each author demonstrates.

Among the participants with their impressive works are names like Alexander Kulik, Alexander Stoyanov, Atanas Stoyanov, Georgi Ivanov, Danail Dimov, Dimitrina Andreeva, Dragomir Georgiev, Zhecho Planinski, Konstantin Kostadinov, Krasimir Kolev, Milen Dobrev, Nikolay Radanov-Niro, Svetlin Yosifov, Stanil Lazarov, Stefka Delcheva, as well as the photographer of the Bulgarian Telegraph Agency in Burgas Hristo Stefanov.

The "Burgas Photographic Community" was founded in 2008 with the clearly defined goal of establishing and developing contemporary Bulgarian photographic art. The organization does not stop creating various creative projects and consistently works to promote photography both locally and nationally. It has a number of prominent and established authors who hold prestigious national and international awards.

BTA recalls that in 2024, the annual exhibition of the association included over 50 photographs by 19 photographers, which underlines the dynamics and continuous creative impulse. Another popular initiative of the association is the charity exhibition "Sense of Black and White", where the funds collected from the sale of photographs were donated to a family affected by a fire. In other editions, such as the thematic exhibition "Fairy Tales for Eve", which was organized this year for the sixth time, the association focused on the female image, emotion and the narrative as central themes, unfolded through various photographic perspectives, reinforcing its role as a driving force of photographic creativity in the region.
