Bulgaria among the most desired vacation destinations for German tourists in 2025.
The Ministry of Tourism participated in the annual conference of the German association of tour operators and travel agencies RITA AG, where it presented the opportunities of Bulgaria as a preferred destination for German tourists. Our country ranks among the Top 10 most desired places for organized holidays in the summer of 2025, and reservations for the Bulgarian Black Sea coast have seen a 24% increase compared to the previous year.
British tourists are returning to Bulgaria, and the ministry is working to deepen cooperation
The Minister of Tourism Miroslav Borshosh and the Ambassador of the United Kingdom in Bulgaria, H.E. Nathaniel Copsey, discussed the opportunities for expanding the bilateral cooperation in the field of tourism. The goal is not only to restore the pre-pandemic levels of tourist flow, but also to offer new, high-quality tourism products for British guests.
Bulgarian tourism ready for the eurozone - The Ministers of Tourism of Bulgaria and Croatia discussed the benefits of introducing the single currency
The Minister of Tourism Miroslav Borshosh held a working meeting with his Croatian counterpart Tonchi Glavina, where they discussed the effects of the introduction of the euro on the tourism sector in the two countries. Minister Borshosh stated that Bulgarian tourism is ready for the introduction of the single European currency, which will make the country more attractive and competitive. Minister Glavina presented the positive experience of Croatia, including the increase in the average salary after joining the Eurozone.
