The Ministry of Health is taking decisive steps to review the existing rules for professional development in the sector. With a special order, Minister Kirilov initiated the formation of an interdepartmental expert team that will analyze the possibilities for modernizing Ordinance No. 1 of January 22, 2015.
The working group includes delegates from three leading institutions – the health department, the Bulgarian Medical Association, and the Association of Healthcare Professionals. The first meeting is planned to be held very soon – in the coming days.
A key moment in the initiative is direct communication with the National Health Protest "Future in Bulgaria". The working group members will thoroughly examine the proposals of the Initiative Committee, and its representatives will be allowed to participate in the discussions.
Minister Kirilov demonstrates exceptional commitment to the process, personally taking responsibility for continuous and direct communication. He has provided his personal phone number to the protesters and will closely monitor the work on the identified issues.
The ultimate goal is to prepare a comprehensive report by July 25, based on expert opinions and constructive proposals. "Young specialists are the future of the system, and their efforts deserve full respect," the minister emphasized, confirming his personal commitment to the reforms.
