Minister Ivkova: A sustainable solution for young doctors' salaries is a priority

Minister Katya Ivkova announced that the Ministry of Health is working on urgent measures to retain young medical professionals in Bulgaria through better working conditions and pay.

A Dialogue on the Future of Healthcare

During a meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Healthcare, Minister Katya Ivkova emphasized that resolving the issue of salaries for medical residents is a top priority for her team. In response to a question from Nikolay Denkov ("We Continue the Change"), the Minister stated that an active dialogue with young doctors is at the heart of future reforms.

"For me, this issue is a priority, and I have shared this with the young doctors. Dialogue with them is very important, and we plan to hold much more regular meetings," said Ivkova.

Minister Ivkova is categorical: stable healthcare is only possible by retaining young talent through concrete and workable solutions.
