"Sveti Vlas – East" beach is open for swimming
The Director of the Regional Health Inspectorate (RHI) – Burgas, Dr. Georgi Pazderov, officially confirmed that the "Sveti Vlas – East" beach is once again open to visitors. The ban, imposed due to an accident, has been lifted following an issued order.
"Tests showed excellent sea water quality in the area," stated Dr. Pazderov.
Details about the situation:
- The ban was introduced on August 14 due to partial contamination caused by a problem at the treatment plant.
- The accident has now been fully resolved.
- Sea water sampling will continue to be carried out periodically for safety.
District Governor Diko Dikov emphasized that work is underway on a long-term solution through the construction of a new treatment plant with greater capacity, which will prevent similar incidents in the future.
