Increased police presence at Vasil Levski Stadium
In connection with the upcoming football match between the teams of PFC Levski and PFC AEK, which will take place on August 18 at 22:00, the Ministry of Interior is taking large-scale measures to ensure public order.
Teams from the General Directorate of Gendarmerie, the Sofia Directorate of Interior, and the National Police will be stationed around the National Stadium to ensure the safety of the fans.
Organization and stadium access
- Buffer zones: Special zones will be established around the stadium to separate the two sets of supporters.
- Access control: Gates open at 20:00. The police urge spectators to arrive early to avoid crowding.
- Checks: Strict checks will be conducted for prohibited items – weapons, pyrotechnics, knives, brass knuckles, and bottles.
Important information for visitors
The organizers remind that persons under 18 years of age are admitted to the stadium only with an adult companion and a completed declaration. Serious traffic congestion is expected in the center of Sofia, and traffic may be temporarily restricted if necessary.
