What does deregistration of address mean?
Deregistration of address is an administrative procedure by which your registered place of residence is changed. This can happen for various reasons, including a request from the property owner in which you are registered.
What is the procedure?
In this case, it is an order from the Mayor of Sozopol Municipality (№ 163/17.02.2026), issued on the basis of a request from S. D. G. The order provides for a change of your address registration to an official address: Sozopol, Han Krum Blvd. № 2.
What should you do?
- Notification: You will receive a written notification of the order.
- Check the information board: The order has been published on the information board in Sozopol Municipality.
- Check the website: The order has been published on the official website of Sozopol Municipality.
- Change of documents: It is necessary to replace your personal documents within one month.
- Obtaining a copy: You can obtain a copy of the order in the "Civil Registration" department, room 5, floor 2, in the administrative building, at Han Krum Square № 2.
How can you appeal?
The order is subject to appeal within 14 days of its announcement to the Administrative Court - Burgas, through the Mayor of Sozopol Municipality.
Important: Appealing the order does not stop its execution (Art. 92, para. 14 of the Civil Registration Act).
