New travel opportunity: Varna – Basel
The airline Wizz Air has officially announced the opening of a new direct air route connecting our sea capital Varna with the Swiss city of Basel. This is another step in the expansion of the low-cost carrier's network in the region.
Flight schedule
Passengers will be able to take advantage of the new connection starting from October 27. Flights will be operated twice a week, scheduled for convenient days:
- Tuesday
- Saturday
The new route is key to the development of tourism and business exchange between Bulgaria and Switzerland, providing easy access to one of the main economic centers in Europe.
Wizz Air's presence in Varna
With the addition of Basel, the airline now maintains a total of 23 routes from Varna to 13 countries. With three aircraft based at the airport, Wizz Air strengthens its position as a leading factor for the connectivity of the Black Sea region with the rest of Europe.
