More flights for the 2027 summer season
The Ministry of Tourism is working actively to improve Bulgaria's air connectivity with the aim of attracting more tourists to the Black Sea coast. Minister Ilin Dimitrov held a key meeting with the CEO of Fraport Twin Star Airport Management, Michael Reusch.
"We are working consistently for more flights and better air connectivity in order to ensure sustainable growth of tourism," stated Minister Dimitrov.
New opportunities with leading airlines
- Corendon: Planning new connections from Cologne, Nuremberg, and Stuttgart to Varna and Burgas.
- Condor: Discussions are underway to provide 15,500 seats to Burgas from Frankfurt, Nuremberg, and Leipzig.
- ICC: Approximately 250 flights with nearly 50,000 seats to the two coastal airports are planned.
Furthermore, Bulgaria will host a large-scale meeting of the TUI Group management in September, which reinforces the long-term interest of major tour operators in our country.
