Wind energy in Europe: Germany leads, Bulgaria with a small share

Wind provides 22% of electricity in Europe in the last 24 hours. Germany, Lithuania and the Netherlands have the largest share, while in Bulgaria the share is only 0.1%.

The share of electricity from wind farms in Europe over the past 24 hours is 22% according to WindEurope.

Onshore wind turbines produced 18.3%, and offshore wind farms - 3.7% of the total amount of electricity.

The countries with the largest share are Germany (58.1%), Lithuania (54.9%) and the Netherlands (42.6%). Bulgaria has 0.1%.

The largest amounts were produced in Germany (687.1 GWh), France (198.9 GWh) and Spain (101.4 GWh). In Bulgaria - 0.2 GWh.
