The construction of the second phase of the "Industrial and Logistics Park - Burgas" is progressing at a noticeable pace, reviving hopes for an economic boost in the region. On a site of over 140 decares in the "South-West" industrial zone, teams are working hard to transform the area into a modern industrial center. The project, implemented by "Industrial and Logistics Park Burgas" AD in partnership with Burgas Municipality, is funded under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, which underscores its strategic importance for the national economy.

The funds allocated for the ambitious project amount to just over 39 million leva. Of this significant amount, over 25.7 million leva are in the form of non-refundable financial assistance, the joint-stock company specifies. This support demonstrates the government's commitment to stimulating sustainable development and attracting investment in key industrial sectors.

In addition to infrastructure improvements, significant improvements to public infrastructure are also planned. These include a complete reconstruction of "Targovska" Street, which will provide better access to the newly built zone. Street lighting, rainwater drainage, internal water and sewerage networks, electricity supply, as well as road and bicycle infrastructure are key elements of the plan. Landscaping and video surveillance, also planned in the project, will add to the functionality and attractiveness of the new industrial center.

The new industrial zone, after the completion of the second phase, will offer an impressive 450 decares of area, intended for investment. Improved communication connectivity promises to facilitate business and stimulate economic growth. The project is a key element of the Integrated Development Plan of Burgas Municipality until 2027, emphasizing the focus on technological innovations and the promotion of economic activity, according to "Industrial and Logistics Park Burgas" AD.

One of the most significant expectations from the implementation of the second phase is the creation of over 700 new jobs. This promises to raise living standards and stimulate economic activity in the region. It is also planned to attract strategic investors in the long term, which will contribute to the sustainable development of the area.

BTA recalls that within the first phase of the project, the infrastructure in the "North" industrial zone was completely built. This investment is already bearing fruit, with 40 investors operating their production bases there. This step gives confidence in the successful development of the second phase as well.
