New development opportunities for children in Burgas
Burgas Municipality is launching the ambitious project "The Talents of Burgas", aimed at supporting and developing the potential of students and preschool children. The project, funded under the "Education" Program 2021-2027, has a total value of 382,521.83 euros.
The project aims at early identification and systematic work with talents in key areas, including children from vulnerable groups.
Four main directions for success:
- STEM: Schools for programming and robotics with LEGO kits, culminating in large-scale festivals.
- Arts and culture: Schools for applied arts, batik technique, and creative writing in partnership with the "Asen Zlatarov 1940" Community Center.
- Sports: Organizing chess tournaments and a campaign to promote children's sports through demonstrations and games.
- Foreign languages: Situational English language training with interactive Christmas and holiday events.
The initiative will be implemented in the period 2026-2028 and promises to create a modern and stimulating environment for young talents in Burgas.
