Today, on the last day of the year, it will be colder than yesterday, BNT reported. Minimum temperatures will be from minus 10° to minus 3°, in Sofia – around minus 7°, on the sea coast – from minus 4° to 0°, and the maximums – between minus 1° and 4°, in Sofia – around 0°, in combination with a moderate, temporarily strong wind from the west-northwest.
It will be mostly sunny, with more clouds in the afternoon hours.
It will also be sunny on the Black Sea coast, but also very windy, with maximum temperatures between 2° and 4°.
A strong and stormy northwest wind will continue to blow in the mountains. It will be sunny, but very cold, with maximum temperatures in the resorts from minus 15° to minus 8°.
It will be less windy on New Year's Eve. Isolated and light snowfall is not excluded, mainly in the mountainous and eastern regions.
Towards midnight, temperatures in the country will be from minus 11° in the Southwest to minus 3° in Eastern Bulgaria. A rapid and significant warming is expected during the first days of the new year.
Sunny weather will prevail, but light precipitation is also not excluded, with a higher probability on Friday.
