Sunday is shaping up to be a day with predominantly cloudy weather, with fog or reduced visibility in many areas, reports on-duty meteorologist Boryana Markova from the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH). According to the forecast, the rainfall observed until the morning will stop almost everywhere. Around noon, however, precipitation will start again from the south, mainly in Southwestern and Eastern Bulgaria.
During the night, a light to moderate wind from the south-southeast is expected, which will gradually turn from south-southwest during the day.
Temperatures will be quite varied. Minimum temperatures will range between 8" and 13_, while the maximums will reach between 15" and 20_. For Sofia, a minimum temperature of around 8" and a maximum of around 15" is predicted.
The weather in the mountains will be cloudy. After temporary interruptions during the day, there will be rain, and above 2200 meters - snow. A moderate to strong wind from the south-southwest is expected there. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1200 meters will be around 12_, and at 2000 meters - around 5".
The meteorologists predict cloudy weather along the Black Sea coast. After a temporary stop, around noon, there will be rainfall again. A light to moderate southeasterly wind will blow, which will gradually turn from south-southwest. The maximum temperatures along the coast will be between 15" and 20_. The sea water temperature is around 16_-17_. The sea swell is expected to be 2-3 points.
