Minimum temperatures in the country will range between 4 and 9 degrees Celsius, according to information from the Bulgarian National Radio (BNR). In the capital Sofia, the thermometers will show around 2 degrees. Today, a weakening and cessation of the wind is expected, with fog or low-level layered cloudiness observed in many places in the lowlands and valleys.
During the day, the cloud cover in many places in the country will decrease, turning the weather into mainly sunny. Before noon, the cloud cover over Eastern Bulgaria will remain significant, but it is expected to dissipate and decrease. The maximum temperatures during the day are expected to reach between 12 and 17 degrees, with Sofia expected to be around 12 degrees.
On the Black Sea coast, the cloud cover will be predominantly significant. A moderate wind from the north-northwest will blow, which will weaken in the afternoon. Rainfall is expected to stop. The maximum air temperatures along the coast will be between 14 and 15 degrees. The seawater will be between 16 and 17 degrees. The sea wave height is expected to be around 2-3 points.
In the mountains today, the weather will be sunny, with scattered, mainly high cloud cover. A moderate wind will blow from the west-northwest. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1200 meters will be around 10 degrees, and at 2000 meters - around 3 degrees.
