During the night, the precipitation will stop, at the latest in the eastern regions, and the cloud cover from the west will break up and decrease, the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH) announced. A light to moderate wind will blow from the west-southwest. Minimum temperatures will be between 0° and 5°, in Sofia – around 1°.
The atmospheric pressure will increase, but will remain below the monthly average.
Tomorrow will be sunny. Cloud cover will increase from the west and later in the afternoon rain will fall in the western regions. A light to moderate wind will blow from the south-southwest. Maximum temperatures will be between 11° and 16°, in Sofia – around 11°.
Along the Black Sea coast, sunny weather will prevail. A moderate southeast wind will blow. Maximum temperatures will be 10°-15°. The sea water temperature will be 5°-7°. The sea swell will be 2-3 Beaufort.
In the mountains, the cloud cover will increase from the west and later in the afternoon rain will fall in the Rila-Rhodope massif and Western Stara Planina, and snow above about 2000 meters. A moderate, temporarily strong wind will blow from the south-southwest. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1200 meters will be around 9°, at 2000 meters – around 2°.
During the night to Sunday, the precipitation will cover the whole country, will continue on Sunday, when there is an increased probability of significant amounts in places in Southern Bulgaria and the eastern regions. The wind will be from the south, will strengthen, especially in Eastern Bulgaria and the areas located near the northern mountain slopes. It will be relatively warm, with minimum temperatures above zero and maximums between 12° and 17°. Later in the day, it will orient from the northwest and with it will begin to penetrate cold air. On Monday, it will remain mostly cloudy. The precipitation in many areas will temporarily weaken and stop, then will reactivate again. The cooling will continue, and with the drop in temperatures, the rain will turn into snow, except in the extreme southern regions of the country.
