Clear weather will prevail during the night, announced the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH). Temporary increases in cloud cover will occur over the northwestern and southeastern regions, where light precipitation will fall in isolated places. There will be a weak wind from the east-southeast, in the Danube Plain – from the north-northeast. In the morning hours, the wind will subside in many areas and there will be conditions for fog formation in the plain part of the country.
The prevailing minimum temperatures will be between 3° and 8°, in Sofia – around 5°.
Atmospheric pressure is higher than the monthly average, it will slightly decrease during the day, but will remain higher than average.
Tomorrow the weather will be sunny. More significant increases in cloud cover will occur over Southern Bulgaria, where in places, mainly in the mountains, there will be light rain. The wind will persist from the east-southeast, in the Danube Plain – from the north-northeast, weak to moderate. Maximum temperatures will be between 16° and 21°, in Sofia – around 19°.
On the Black Sea coast it will be mostly sunny with broken high cloud cover. There will be a weak to moderate wind from the east-southeast. Maximum temperatures will be between 12° and 15°. The sea water temperature is 9°-11°. The sea swell will be around 2 Beaufort.
Over the mountains the cloud cover will be more often significant and in places there will be light rain, above 2500 meters – snow. There will be a weak to moderate wind from the east-southeast. The maximum temperature at 1200 meters will be around 13°, at 2000 meters – around 5°.
In the coming days, sunny weather will prevail in most of the country. More significant temporary increases in cloud cover will occur over Western Bulgaria and there will be precipitation in isolated places. The wind will be weak with an eastern component, in many areas it will temporarily subside. Minimum temperatures will be between 3° and 8°, and maximum - between 18° and 23°.
