No Confidence Vote Against the Government: PP-DB and Other Parties Take Action

Continuing the Change-Democratic Bulgaria have filed a vote of no confidence in the government, accusing it of failing economic policy. The vote is expected to be supported by other parties, with a focus on the upcoming elections and the isolation of Delyan Peevski.

The chairman of "We Continue the Change" Asen Vasilev announced that a vote of no confidence in the government has been submitted, pointing out that this is the first vote with the active participation of the young generation.

Vasilev stated that if the government does not resign, an even bigger protest will be convened. Ivaylo Mirchev accused Delyan Peevski of attempts to manipulate on an ethnic basis and organize counter-protests.

Bozhidar Bozhanov emphasized that the vote is supported by "Alliance for Rights and Freedoms" and MECH, and called for early elections with high voter turnout in order to isolate purchased votes and Peevski.

Atanas Atanasov clarified that the vote is due to a failure in economic policy.

Ivaylo Mirchev accused Peevski of organizing a counter-protest.
