Traffic restriction on Hemus Motorway
From June 15 (Monday) to June 18 (Thursday), between 08:00 and 20:00, traffic at the Yablanitsa junction (at km 74) of the Hemus Motorway in the direction of Sofia will be restricted. The reason for the temporary reorganization is asphalt pavement repair work, the Road Infrastructure Agency (RIA) announced.
Drivers are urged to be careful, to observe road signs and speed limits, and to avoid risky overtaking.
Detour route for drivers:
- Traffic will be diverted via the first-class road I-3 Byala – Botevgrad.
- Traffic will pass through the village of Zhurovo.
- The vehicle flow will be directed towards the Zhurovo junction (at km 68), from where they will be able to rejoin the motorway.
We remind you that in May, a traffic accident occurred at the same location, in which a road maintenance worker was injured, which is why safety when passing through the section is of critical importance.
