Temporary traffic restrictions on Trakia Motorway on August 12
Tomorrow, August 12, drivers traveling on the Trakia Motorway should be prepared for changes in traffic organization. The reason is the performance of planned infrastructure maintenance activities in the Sofia region.
Important: Drivers must drive carefully and strictly follow the placed road signs in the sections with repair works.
Activity schedule:
- Joint cleaning: From 7:00 to 14:00, joints on structures will be cleaned in the section between Kalugerovo and Dolno Varshilo (from km 61 to km 78) in the lane towards Sofia. Traffic will be redirected in stages from the active to the passing lane.
- Vegetation mowing: From 6:30 to 13:00, roadside vegetation mowing will be carried out in the section between km 34 and km 40 (Sofia direction). In this section, passage will be restricted in stages only through the emergency lane, with the active and passing lanes remaining open.
The Road Infrastructure Agency (RIA) urges all citizens and transport companies to plan their routes in advance.
