Tomorrow, October 29th, drivers traveling on the "Trakia" motorway should be especially careful.

From 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, short-term repairs to the road surface will be carried out in the lane towards Sofia, in the section from the 70th to the 71st kilometer, in the Pazardzhik region. A reporter on site reports that heavy traffic is expected in the area due to the upcoming restrictions.

During the repair work, traffic will be restricted in the active and emergency lanes, and traffic will be diverted to the overtaking lane. This is likely to cause delays and additional stress for travelers.

At the same time, repairs to the road surface are also planned at the 76th kilometer, again in the lane towards Sofia. Here, too, traffic restrictions are expected, with the active lane being closed and traffic taking place in the overtaking lane.

Moreover, the repairs to the restraint systems at the 105th kilometer of the motorway will continue tomorrow. The activities in this section, located in the Pazardzhik region, began on October 25th. These repairs have already led to traffic restrictions in the overtaking lanes in both directions of the motorway. Traffic has been diverted into the active and emergency lanes, both towards Sofia and Burgas.

The "Road Infrastructure" Agency (API) appeals to all drivers to be especially vigilant. API reminds of the need to drive carefully, to observe traffic rules and speed limits. The agency emphasizes the importance of avoiding risky overtaking maneuvers, which may endanger the safety of all road users. Warning signs are visible on site, reminding of the upcoming restrictions and the need for increased attention.

For all citizens and transport companies seeking information about the current road situation, API offers several options. Information can be found on the agency's website - www.api.bg. In addition, a 24-hour telephone line - 0700 130 20 - is also available.
