Repair activities to restrict traffic on Hemus Motorway
Drivers traveling on the Hemus Motorway should plan their route with extra caution in the coming days. The Road Infrastructure Agency (RIA) has announced upcoming repair work on the viaduct at the 34th km.
Important: Traffic in the Sofia-bound lane will be restricted on June 10 and 11, from 09:00 to 18:00.
How will traffic be managed?
- In the section between the 30th and 35th km, traffic will be diverted to both directions in the Varna-bound lane.
- The restriction is necessary for ongoing maintenance activities on the facility.
The RIA urges all drivers to be cautious, to strictly follow traffic rules and the posted speed limits. Do not attempt risky overtaking to ensure the safety of yourself and other road users.
