From January 1, 2026, changes related to vignettes for using the roads in Bulgaria will come into effect. The main highlights include prices in euros, as well as restrictions related to the preparation for the introduction of the euro.
Vignette Check: Every driver can easily check the validity of the vignette for their car through the National Toll Administration website - www.bgtoll.bg, using the "Vignette Check" button. You need to enter the registration number of the car and the country of registration to see the validity period.
Vignette Prices in 2026: The prices remain unchanged, but are written in euros and leva, with the recalculation being automatic. Here are the specific values:
- Annual – 49.60 euros (97 BGN)
- Quarterly – 27.61 euros (54 BGN)
- Monthly – 15.34 euros (30 BGN)
- Weekly – 7.67 euros (15 BGN)
- Weekend – 5.11 euros (10 BGN)
- Daily – 4.09 euros (8 BGN) - comes into effect from February 3, 2026
Daily Vignette: The daily vignette will be introduced from February 3, 2026 and will be valid for light vehicles up to 3.5 tons, providing access to the republican road network for 24 hours.
Temporary interruptions of payment systems: Due to the introduction of the euro, from December 22 to December 31, 2025, it will temporarily not be possible to buy vignettes via bank transfer through the website and mobile application of the National Toll Administration. During this period, you can purchase vignettes with a bank card, at the counter or through a self-service terminal. From 9:00 PM on December 31, 2025, to 2:00 AM on January 1, 2026, all sales channels will be unavailable due to technical maintenance.
Route Cards: Route cards purchased in 2025 can be used until December 31, 2025. Please note that you will not be able to select a travel date after January 1, 2026.

Where to buy a vignette: You can buy vignettes online via www.bgtoll.bg or the mobile application, at the API counters, through self-service terminals, as well as from the partner network of the "Road Infrastructure" Agency (www.vinetki.bg, www.tollpass.bg, www.digitoll.bg and others) and from many other places.
