Scheduled update of the toll system in May
The National Toll Administration (NTA) informs drivers of upcoming technical activities on the electronic toll collection system. The update is necessary for the better operation of the system, but will lead to temporary difficulties in purchasing products.
Important: Plan your trips in advance to avoid inconvenience when purchasing route passes and vignettes.
Schedule of interruptions:
- May 26 (Tuesday): from 22:00 to 00:00 – possible difficulties with route passes.
- May 27 and 28 (Wednesday and Thursday): from 22:00 to 04:00 – possible difficulties with route passes and vignettes.
What you need to know?
The good news is that the update will not affect automatic tolling via on-board units and GPS trackers for heavy goods vehicles over 3.5 tons. They will continue to function normally.
The NTA advises all drivers who are planning a trip during the specified time intervals to purchase their vignettes or route passes in advance. The administration apologizes to drivers for the temporary inconvenience caused.
