Construction of a new nursing home has begun in Aytos, which will meet all requirements for quality and sustainable social services. The project is being implemented with funding from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, the municipality's press center announced.
The land on which the facility is being built is located in close proximity to Medical Center 1. The building will be two-story and will include new premises for medical care, rehabilitation, and social activities. There will be a reception sector, a medical office, a group activities hall, and an area for meetings with relatives and guests.
Aytos Municipality will also provide parking, which will serve the users of the home and visitors to neighboring facilities - the city garden, the swimming pool complex, and the Medical Center.
BTA recalls that the first nursing home in Aytos was built in 1996 in Slaveeva Reka park, on the site of an old Civil Defense building. In 2022, the rooms, corridors, halls, and service rooms in the home were renovated. A year earlier, again under a municipal project, the building of the home was insulated and painted.
